How to share your faith with a wristband
Many people want a practical way to share their faith with others, but so many on the receiving end have been burned by street preachers holding signs with bold letters, “Repent or Die.”
There must be a better way.
Share your faith the easy way with a conversation starter.
Imagine this. You’re wearing your “I can do all things through Christ” Phil 4:13 wristband while at Trader Joe’s. The white letters stick out, and someone asks you,
“What does your wristband say?”
You begin to share, “It’s a Bible verse that I felt God speak to me when I was in rehab. It says, “I can do all things through Christ.” Meeting God is what finally broke the power of addiction in my life. I’ve been clean and sober for a year.”
Oftentimes a simple conversation starter like a wristband can lead to more questions about your story and why you wear it.
Maybe you are in a new relationship and you are learning to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart” Proverbs 3:4-5.
Maybe you got a new job you needed the reminder, “God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.
And maybe through the midst of a divorce, the reminder you needed was that “The Lord is my Rock” Psalm 18:2.
The message you wear and how you live it out will lead those you encounter to ask, “Why are you wearing that?”
