Plan for April’s Autism Awareness Month
In the United States, 1 in 59 children are born with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. More than 3.5 million people are living with an ASD as are their families. Awareness has gone a long way over the past two decades to educate the public about Autism while urging doctors to continue research into new treatment plans.
During the month of April, spread the word about the importance of Autism Awareness as researchers and doctors continue to find the answers to this puzzling disorder.

Redeem Your Cash for Causes Points during Colon Cancer Awareness Month
This year, the American Cancer Society’s slogan for Colon Cancer Awareness Month is “Make your bottom a top priority. Reduce your risk.” As the makers of the Colonoscopies Save Lives – Get Yours Behind You wristbands, we couldn’t agree more! Their site states that, when caught early and before it has spread, colorectal cancer has a 5-year relative survival rate of 92%. So we’re shouting out loud this month to talk to your doctor about colon cancer, find out your risk, and, if recommended, get that colonoscopy! Trust us, once you’ve gotten it behind you, you won’t look back and regret it!

This Month’s Shout Out: Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Wristband
“The perfect way to honor our friend…
One week to the day before we were to leave for a dive trip to Bonaire we found out our friend Pat was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She and her husband cancelled their trip. It came as a shock to our whole group. We struggled with what to do. Do we cancel too? Pat said she wanted us to go and send lots of photos. Although it was hard to really want to go it was a large group of friends coming from all over the US and Canada.
“We decided to continue with the trip so I started to Google pancreatic cancer and found your bracelets. I knew I wanted to get the group the bracelets so we could wear them on the trip to let Pat know we were thinking about her. I placed the order on a Sunday night and asked for expedited delivery. I was so pleased the next day when I got home and I had a voice message from your company letting me know that the bracelets did ship and that they would be here in plenty of time for our trip. That was above and beyond in my opinion and I really did appreciate it.
“We all wore our bracelets all week and took lots of pictures. Since this was a dive vacation the bracelets were perfect for underwater pictures. I am attaching a few pictures of how we honored our friend Pat.””
